Claudia Abatte graduated from American School for Translators & Interpreters -EATRI- Santiago, Chile in 1987.
From 1993 through 1997 she lived in Virginia, Washington DC.USA, where, besides working as a Translator & Interpreter she tutored Spanish and volunteered for Organizations and Groups focused on helping the Hispanic Community.
Back in Chile, she has worked as Bilingual Advisor for the International Commercial Relationships within several companies, where her knowledge of both cultures -Hispanic and Anglo- has been an asset.
She also resumed her teaching vocation as English Instructor and Spanish Tutor to foreigners in Chile.
She has some knowledge of German, French, Portuguese, and other languages for linguistic research purposes. Currently she is studying Chinese Mandarin

Entre los años 1993 y 1997 Vivió en el área de Virginia-Washington DC. EUA, donde además de Traductora e Intérprete, fue Instructora de Español y también voluntaria en Organismos y Agrupaciones de ayuda a la Comunidad Hispana.
Desde su regreso a Chile ha prestado servicios como Asesor Bilingüe para las relaciones comerciales internacionales de varias empresas, donde su conocimiento de ambas culturas - anglo e hispana- ha sido un gran aporte.
También se reencontró con su vocación de enseñar, como Instructora de Inglés y de Español a extranjeros en Chile.
Como apoyo lingüístico cuenta con conocimientos básicos de Alemán, Francés y Portugués y actualmente estudia el lenguaje Chino Mandarín.
