Epiphany or The Tree Kings Day, also known as The Three Wise Men or The Magi [meɪdʒaɪ]
Today, January 6th, on the Twelfth Day after Christmas, the three kings finally reached baby Jesus and presented gifts to him. Around the world, the day of Epiphany is celebrated.
My grandmother, who's 103 years old, asked me to pray with her today. She breaths heavily and it’s very hard for her to speak but I understood what she wanted. As she holds her rosary and mumbles a prayer I think: this is what an Epiphany looks like! I know why she needs prayer and who she is praying to. As an Epiphany is something that happens on a spiritual/emotional level it is very difficult to put into words. I can only say I UNDERSTAND.

Epifanía ó Día de los Tres Reyes; también conocidos como Los Tres Hombres Sabios o Reyes Magos.
Hoy, 6 de Enero, 12 días después de Navidad, los tres reyes finalmente llegaron donde estaba el niño Jesús y le presentaron sus regalos. En todo el mundo se celebra el Día de la Epifanía.
Mi abuela de 103 años me pidió que rezara con ella hoy. Ella apenas respira y le cuesta mucho hablar, pero yo entendí lo que quería. Mientras ella sostiene su rosario y murmulla una oración yo pienso: ¡Esto es una Epifanía! Sé porqué ella necesita oración y a quién le está rezando. Como una Epifanía es algo que ocurre a un nivel espiritual/emocional es muy difícil ponerlo en palabras. Sólo puedo decir que ENTIENDO.
